2040 bandsets are best for target-weight ammo and a lighter pull. 3/8"-7/16" steel or .32-.38 caliber lead
A long-time favorite of the Asian slingshot enthusiast, many Western shooters are now enjoying the performance, simplicity, and durability of small-diameter looped tubular bands. Made in China to SimpleShot quality standards, specifically for SimpleShot, specifically for slingshot performance!
All bands are built around three ranges of draw length:
- Small - Up to 31" (448-480%)
- Medium - 31"-35" (450-477%)
- Large - 35" and Up (450-475%)
Each will display an elongation factor of 450-480% within each range. If you wish to increase the speed of a bandset (increase elongation factor) simply choose the draw length range below your actual draw length.
Example: If you have a 32" draw length and prefer an elongation factor of 550%, choose the 28"-30" draw length for the preferred tubing size. Please note that increasing elongation factor shortens band life.

I purchased the 1632 lite round band to compare to flat bands. Turns out I like both for different reasons. My grandkids like and use the round I’m still playing with round vrs flat so for now my favorite is the gold band.

These arrived April 5th. I put them on my Axiom Ocularis and still have the same set I put on to this day (May 10th) These 1632 Looped Tubes are durable! I shoot every single day minimum of 45min - 1hr. I can’t wear these things out! These looped tubes made a huge improvement on accuracy (for me) compared to shooting flat bands through the Axiom. They can shoot BB’s - 3/8 steel and 3/8 clay very very well. The pouch on the is different from the Simple Shot flat bands. For me, I can feel the ammo through the pouch better, which gives me a crisper release, which also adds to accuracy. Love these. If you are debating getting some, I highly recommend!!
